Careers & Volunteering

The Sydney Royal Easter Show is Australia's largest annual ticketed event where we come together to celebrate the vital role that agriculture plays in the health and wealth of our nation and applaud the highest achievers in agricultural excellence. Non-stop competitions, a delicious variety of Show food to enjoy and a thrilling entertainment program with a spectacular fireworks finale every night is just some of the highlights of this 12-day event.

Volunteering

Why Volunteer?

Our 500-plus Sydney Royal Easter Show volunteers are a diverse and inclusive community of like-minded people of a broader base of nearly 3,000 volunteers that provide important support to the delivery of the Show. The fun, excitement, and community spirit draw volunteers back to the Show year after year. Without volunteers generously giving their time to the Show it would not be the successful event that it is today.

The volunteers at the Sydney Royal Easter Show elevate the overall experience for our visitors through their outstanding assistance and commitment to excellent customer service. They play crucial roles as welcoming and directional ushers, information agents, and supporters during educational and agricultural activities for children. These dedicated volunteers operate in various pavilions focused on agriculture, animals, and education, actively contributing to the creation of a captivating, thrilling, and educational experience for all Show-goers .
