Young Judges Competitions
Judges don’t just appear, they need to learn and be judged before they can, in turn, judge others. Today’s Young Judges go on to become tomorrow’s experienced judges. Held in conjunction with our partners, the Agricultural Societies Council, the Australian Pony Stud Book Society and the Australian Stock Horse Society, the Young Judges Competitions assess future judges on how well they judge exhibits. Competitors must be concise, show conviction in their opinion, use comparative terms and emphasise their most important points. Young Judges are assessed, evaluated and guided by industry professionals and seasoned judges and compete in: Beef Cattle Paraders, Hard Feather Poultry, Soft Feather Poultry, Waterfowl, Poultry, Australian Stock Horses, Horticulture, Pig, Beef Cattle, Merino Sheep, Merino Fleece, Shetland Ponies, Grain, Fruit & Vegetable, Angora Goat & Mohair, Meat Breed Sheep, Dairy Cattle, Australian Pony, Alpaca, Boer Goat.
