The Journey of an Egg
Did you know that on average, Australians eat 18 million eggs every year? But where exactly do they come from before they end up in our bellies? Join Australian Eggs in the Poultry Pavillion for a fun and free introduction to the Journey of an Egg. Journey of an Egg is an interactive centre for children to learn about where their eggs come from and how to cook them at home. Children are taken through the entire lifecycle of an egg, starting with hatching, laying, grading and packing, and finishing with inspiration for cooking eggs at home.
