Sydney Royal National Honey Show
With over 40 different classes to compete in, the Sydney Royal Honey Show is open to beginners and experts alike. From liquid honey to honeycomb, honeybees to native stingless bees, and conventional to modern methods of extraction, all honey is judged in its respective class, with judges on the lookout for qualities such as flavour, aroma, colour, and appearance. But they don’t stop at honey, this national competition also assesses mead, candles, wax molds, pollen and beeswax. The winning entries are on display every day of the Show.
