Wrangler Federation Rodeo Challenge
Rodeos were introduced at the Show in 1931 and ever since, the horses, riders, bulls, clowns, and crowds have kept coming back for more. For six nights only, man takes on beast to prove once again that the Australian way of rodeo is hold-your-breath, edge-of-your-seat, non-stop thrills and spills of the Bull Ride, Bareback, and the famous Saddle Bronc. It’s not all just fun and games out there, points earned during competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show go toward riders’ National standings. In 2025, Women’s breakaway roping event will be included as a new event in the rodeo series.
