Official Opening Ceremony
The Official Opening Ceremony of the Sydney Royal Easter Show holds tradition near to its heart with marching bands, a parade and inspection of Australian Defence Force troops, and a resounding rendition of the Australian National Anthem. Her Excellency the Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia will officiate the ceremony, following an address from the President of The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, John Bennett OAM.
