Lyndey Milan OAM, who is a popular food personality, Sydney Royal Easter Show Presenter and RAS Councillor, Jane de Graaff, who is a regular channel 9 food and lifestyle presenter and Sydney Royal Judges and Food Consultants, Ian Kingham and Tawnya Bahr. Each session will feature two award-winning producers sharing their expertise while leading you in a guided tasting.
From learning more about the Sydney Royal Wine, Dairy and Fine Food judging system to discovering the stories and secrets behind their award-winning products, this is an activation for our food lovers.
Products on offer will change daily and be available for purchase after each session.
Sydney Royal Arts & Crafts Show - Perishable Cooking

There may be everything from delicious scones to fluffy sponges on display, but competition inside the Arts & Crafts Pavilion is no piece of cake. Exhibitors competing in the baking and cake decorating sections are tasked with achieving perfection based on a strict set of judging guidelines.
This is the only live judging event in Arts & Crafts! Both Exhibitors and Showgoers can listen, learn and be inspired by the judges’ comments as some of the State’s best judges taste, comment and judge. Discover the secrets to a perfect cake, scone, or biscuit, and see who will take out the coveted Most Successful Exhibitor Award in Open and Under 20’s Competitions.
Sydney Royal Rats & Mice Show

The smallest stowaways to arrive with the First Fleet, mice are friendly, every bit as intelligent as dogs, and are highly social little creatures. Rats on the other hand are even smarter than some humans and can be trained to understand commands–so both make the ideal first pet… and they don’t take up a lot of space.
The Sydney Royal Rat and Mouse Show is the perfect opportunity to talk to breeders and owners and discover what to look for in a pet, and to see exactly what makes an award-winning rodent!

Sydney Royal Fine Food Show - Aquaculture Judging

Experience the excitement of live judging, the only Sydney Royal Fine Food competition open to the public. Watch as expert judges, including chefs, educators, and industry professionals, assess the finest Sydney Rock Oysters on shape, presentation, texture, colour, freshness, and taste.
Emcee Lyndey Milan OAM will be on hand to interact with the audience, answering your questions about the judging process and the aquaculture industry. You’ll also have the chance to learn from chefs and industry experts who will share their insights and tips on selecting the best oysters at your local market.

The Flower & Garden Stage will feature an exciting lineup of talks, presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on activations from a diverse group of industry experts.
Each day, the stage will host informative presentations covering a wide range of engaging topics. This is a unique opportunity to take a break, relax, all the while enjoying interesting educational talks and live demonstrations, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and interact with the experts.
Sydney Royal Frog and Reptile Show

Established in 2011, this is now one of the biggest frog and reptile competitions in Australia, as well as one of the most popular amongst all Show visitors. Non-venomous snakes, lizards and a range of frogs are judged on appearance and breed standard, so they are certainly not your common garden variety lizards.
Australian Wildlife Displays will be hosting talks and displays every day of the Show inside the Pet Pavilion.

Utilising VR headsets, you’ll feel like you’re on a farm whilst learning more about our world-leading production systems that stand behind our safe, nutritious, and delicious Aussie beef, lamb, and goat meat.
You’ll also be able to meet and talk with some of our Red Meat Ambassadors, working within in the industry. What question would you like to ask a farmer?
