Breed Conformation

Breed standard determines the characteristics, temperament and appearance of a breed, therefore the Conformation Competition measures each dog against the standard for their breed.

When: From 9am, award is presented at 3pm 22 April
Putting the Best of Breed winners up against each other, the Sydney Royal Best in Show is one of Australia’s most prestigious canine honours.

Best in Show Competition judging will commence at 9am, the winner will be announced at 3pm.

First formed in 1932, the NSW Police Dog Unit operates with the mission to make the streets safer and reduce the fear of crime.

First formed in 1932, the NSW Police Dog Unit operates with the mission to make the streets safer and reduce the fear of crime. Police handlers from this Unit show off the skills and tricks their dogs use to fight crime and you won’t believe what they can do.

Stamina, speed and strength for jumping and weaving.... or focus, coming when called and knowing when to sit and stay or drop and roll.

Could be classes for children, but it is fur babies we are talking about. Sydney Royal Agility and Obedience Competitions recognise excellence and reward training for dog lovers of all ages.
