An excursion to the Sydney Royal Easter Show is an amazing opportunity to engage with Australian agriculture and is full of interactive learning, hands-on activities and exciting competitions to compliment the new syllabus requirements for mandatory agriculture in stages ES1-4.

The RAS Education team have compiled resources that promote agriculture to start your class on the paddock to plate and field to fibre journeys. To assist with your excursion preparations, you can download our free resource kits and workbooks from our Education Resources page.

School tickets to the Show are available to NSW and ACT public schools, registered non-government schools and registered home schools. Students must attend as a school group 

Step 1: Plan Your Excursion

Who: Kindergarten to Year 12 school students

When: 12th -23rd April, 2019.

Time: Open from 9am - 9pm

Where: Sydney Showgrounds, Sydney Olympic Park

Step 2: Purchase Your Tickets

Student tickets $17 including public transport (GST exempt)

Primary schools - 1 FREE teacher with ever 6 students

Secondary schools - 1 FREE teacher with every 10 students

Additional teacher tickets available for $17

Complimentary teacher tickets will only be issued for orders of 6 or more tickets. For classes of 1-5 students, teachers will need to pay $17 each.

Students who hold a companion card receive 1 free carer entry. Companion card numbers must be emailed to education@rasnsw.com.au by April 1, 2019.
