Kids

Kids are king at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, with hours of fun entertainment and carnival classics on offer every day.

Young showgoers can see personalities from their favourite television programs come to life in a range of on-stage character shows and “meet and greet” sessions.

Weird and wonderful circus acts will wander the showground to entertain crowds and the Kids’ Carnival will be brimming with magical new rides and old favourites.


Adventure Time - Meet & Greet

You might not know his name, but we’re pretty sure you’ve heard his voice before. Please meet Jeremy Shada, the voice of Finn - the human boy with the awesome hat - from Adventure Time. Jeremy will be available for handing out signatures and photos.

When: 1pm - 2pm, Monday 14 April

Ashton Entertainment Circus Workshops

Be taught circus tricks from the best in the business at the Ashton Entertainment Circus Workshops. With over 160 years of circus knowledge under their belt, the circus extraordinaires will teach you how to walk a mini wire like a daredevil, hula with multiple hoops, juggle, plate spin and diablo at the free, fun workshops.
When: 10:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm, daily

Dirtgirl Live on Stage

Dirtgirl and her friend Charlie Darling are calling all eco-warriors to pull on their gumboots and get grubby at the Big Top Amphitheatre at this year’s Show.
The green-thumbed friends will call on audience members in this interactive stage show to help them navigate their way through range of environmental challenges, including composting, recycling and planting gardens.
The stage show is based on a popular television series that uses the cutting-edge technique of mixing animation with photo montage, bringing the characters and ‘dirtgirlworld’ to vivid life. Dynamic Dirtgirl and her gang of friends will encourage children to appreciate and protect the natural world around them.

How to Train Your Dragon - Meet & Greet

The magic world of How to Train Your Dragon will be brought to life when two of its stars, Snotlout and Gronkle, come to mingle at the Show. These larger-than-life characters will be available for photos with their young fans.

Looney Tunes Classroom Capers

Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes gang are heading back to school in this live, on-stage performance. Showgoers will see just what the cheeky Looney Tunes cast get up to when their teacher is running late. The laugh-a-minute show will keep the entire family entertained, with favourites Bugs Bunny, Tweety and Sylvester brought to life on stage.

PEPE LE PEW - Meet & Greet

Everyone’s favourite hopeless romantic, Pepe Le Pew, will be coming to this year’s Show. Love will be in the air when this Parisian skunk saunters around to meet showgoers.

Peter Pan

Escape to Neverland as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell work together to save their magical world from the clutches of their greatest foe, Hook.
The stage show, based on the New Adventures of Peter Pan series, invites children to enter a land of adventure and imagination. 
The audience will witness Peter and Tinkerbell work to stop Hook and his goofy pirate sidekick in their tracks, while restoring harmony in Neverland.
The New Adventures of Peter Pan is an ABC series that draws from the original play and books by JM Barrie. This timeless classic, loved by children across the world, is set to thrill and enchant young showgoers when it is staged live at the Show.

Pony Rides

See kids’ faces light up in delight as they take a hand-led ride on a cute pony. Be sure to give your little ones a taste of real country life, and have your camera handy to capture this special moment.

Tickety Toc Live Show

Can twins Tommy and Tallulah win the Glitterball dancing contest when Tommy has two left feet?
Young showgoers are set to find out, as Tallulah and her friend Cindy work together to help Tommy to win the contest at this live stage show.
The Tickety Toc stage show is based on a popular television series that follows inseparable six-year-old twins Tommy and Tallulah, as they solve problems in a fun and engaging way. 
Their extraordinary world exists behind an old clock named Tickety Toc Clock, which springs to life every hour to ‘chime in the time’. The twins must work together to make sure their world runs smoothly and to keep the clock ticking along.
Audience members can see Tommy and Tallulah, as well as the rest of the cast, come to life before their eyes in this live character stage show.

Wizard of Oz - Meet and Greet

Follow the yellow brick road with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion at this year’s Show. The four friends from the popular L Frank Baum stories, which later inspired the iconic film The Wizard of Oz, will make their debut appearance at this year’s Show. These much-loved characters will be available daily to meet and greet fans.
