The ShowLink ticket is the only ticket you will need to get to the 2008 Sydney
Royal Easter Show. ShowLink ticket includes entry to the Show and return
travel on CityRail, Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses, regular
‘blue and white’ Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries (excluding premium
bus and ferry services, and private buses).
Everyone who comes to the Show will pay the same all-inclusive public
transport and entry fare price. The ShowLink ticket means savings and greater
convenience for families travelling on the public transport system.
The Sydney Royal Easter Show is held in the geographical heart of Sydney,
at Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park. Home to impressive
venues such as the ANZ Stadium, the Acer Arena and State Aquatic and
Athletic Centres, Sydney Olympic Park is one of Australia’s top tourist
destinations, attracting more than six million visitors through the precinct
each year.
Sydney Showground is conveniently serviced by bus, train, ferry and taxi
services. The transport services to the venue are also designed to cope
effortlessly with numerous visitors.
Trains
Train services, operated by CityRail, to and from Olympic Park Station
during Showtime include:
- Olympic Park Sprint between Lidcombe Station and Olympic Park
Station at 20 minute intervals;
- Direct services between Central Station and Olympic Park Station;
- Show timetables will be available closer to Showtime or visit the
CityRail Timetable website to get the most up-to-date information
on timetables for Olympic Park Sprint and Central Station direct
services.
Walking
Sydney Olympic Park is a short 15 minute flat walk from Concord West
Station,or a 25 minute walk from Lidcombe Station.
Buses
For the duration of the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Olympic Park
Major Event Buses run every 20 to 30 minutes and more frequently during
busy periods, on 12 routes across Sydney.
Major Event Buses start operating between 7am and 7.30am (depending
on the route) to Sydney Olympic Park and arrive at the Show daily from
around 8.30am. The last bus on each route departs Sydney Olympic Park
at 11pm each night of the Show.

Ferry
Sydney Ferries operate a daily service between Circular Quay and Parramatta,
stopping at Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf, departing from Circular Quay,
No. 5 Wharf.

CBD
Sydney’s central business district is just 14km from Sydney Olympic Park.
The CBD is easily accessible by all modes of transport including car, train,
