Q: What are the dates for the 2008 Show?
A:Thursday 20 March to Wednesday 2 April 2008. Gates are open from 9.30am, however some judging starts as early as 8am and you will be admitted. Gates close at 9.30pm each night, however the Carnival and The VB Shed are open till 10.30pm. The last bus departs the Showground at around 11pm.
Q: Where can I get my ticket to the Show and when do they go on sale?
A: Tickets are available for pre-sale from participating Australia Post outlets from 4 February until 31 March 2008 and from CityRail stations from 10 March 2008 and throughout the Show. You can also buy your tickets at the Show entry gate on the day of attendance.
Q: How much are tickets to the Show?
A: ShowLink tickets are $32.00 for Adults, $25.50 for Concession card
holders and $21.50 for Children 4 years and over. Get a 30% discount

Q: What does a ShowLink ticket cover?
A: ShowLink tickets cover public transport to and from the Show and
entry into the Show, plus all entertainment, attractions, exhibitions and
performances.

Q: What is a GreenEvent?
A: The Sydney Royal Easter Show has been classified a GreenEvent by
the Environmental Protection Authority and the Sydney Olympic Park
Authority. This means that the RAS is committed to environmental
sustainability and the Show is an environmentally friendly event, where
possible. The RAS is developing new ways to minimise the effect of the
Show on the environment.

A: The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW is a not-for-profit organisation
that contributes to the growth and development of sustainable agriculture
through competitions, events and education. The RAS was established in
1822 and is one of Australia’s oldest and most respected institutions.

A: There are nine Pavilions and retail areas dedicated to bringing Showgoers
a unique and exclusive shopping experience. The Woolworths Fresh Food Dome,

Heritage Lane, Home, Garden & Lifestyle, Craft Corner and World Bazaar.

Q: How much are Carnival rides at the Show?
A: The Opening Day ride offer on Thursday 20 March is a new feature for
2008. Showgoers are entitled to unlimited rides at the Carnival between
