School groups are invited to a fun-filled learning extravaganza where children will be entertained and enlightened whilst enjoying Australia’s largest annual celebration.
This year, due to Easter falling in the school holidays, we will have one Schoolday, Thursday April 9th.
The Easter Show offers everyone an exciting opportunity to learn about agriculture and its place in our modern world. The Show is Australia’s largest virtual classroom with interactive displays highlighting food production technologies as well as both traditional and state of the art agricultural methods.
There are twelve pre-booked activities for teachers to choose from for their students. Please be sure to book early as sessions are filling extremely fast.
The Schools Venue Assessment has been developed by Sydney Showground to ensure that all who visit the Showground have a safe and enjoyable experience.
We also recommend that teachers refer to the NSW Department of Education and Training: Policies and Procedures: Excursions Policy (No: PD/2004/0010/V003): See Section 15 Appendices; Appendix 2 Risk Management Process and Proforma. Click here to access this information.
Schools can now keep their Show experience going all year round with LandLearn NSW. For fabulous resources, teacher courses, excursion destinations and much more visit the LandLearn NSW website.
