The Sydney Royal Easter Show offers Schools a unique and vibrant educational event that is the perfect excursion for students of all ages!
On Thursday 1 April, 2010 the Sydney Showground will transform into Australia’s largest classroom creating an exciting and interactive learning experience for primary and secondary students alike.
Free Pre-booked Educational Sessions
Designed by education professionals, the 2010 Schools’ Program provides a selection of 15 different sessions including past favourites - ‘Milking Barn’, ‘Chef Demonstrations’, ‘Sheep Shearing’ and some exciting new additions such as “Cattle Shed Tours” and “Spinners and Weavers.”
Industry experts and young farmers will engage students of all ages about “Where our food and fibre comes from!” Sessions incorporate subject matter related to Agriculture, Design and Technology, Food Technology, Textiles and Design, and Science and Technology.

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW provides admission packages for School Groups that simplify the organisation of your Show excursion.

No GST applies to School Group tickets
Showlink *tickets include travel on CityRail Network, Sydney Olympic Park major event buses, Blue and White buses, and Sydney Ferries
Teachers receive complimentary** tickets with each school order:
• 1 free teacher ticket** with every 6 primary students
• 1 free teacher ticket** with every 10 secondary students
• People With Disability (PWD) Carer tickets are issued on a needs basis
Online Booking Service (OBS)
Now you can Pre-book Group places in our popular ‘Educational Sessions’ and pay for Show entry and transport all in one transaction. OBS is easy to use, fast and efficient, and we will still be in the Office to assist you with your enquiries.
OBS accepts credit card payments and provides a “Pay Later” option of 7 working days to provide time to raise and post a cheque, without forfeiting your student's places.
