The 2008 Sydney Royal Easter Show will house one of the most diverse and spectacular collections of amusements and rides in the world with 60 rides and 57 games to delight and challenge Showgoers.This year’s Show will go beyond entertainment, beyond the extreme and beyond belief. Ideal for the whole family, from tots to teens and adrenaline junkies, the Carnival will take Showgoers on a journey to the edge of their seats. This year’s Carnival will be full of thrills and surprises, delivering a heavy hit of action.

Ride Coupons

Ride coupons are the best way to experience all the action in the Carnival.
Buy your coupons in bulk to receive discounted deals. $1 per coupon,
40 for $35 (save $5) or 70 coupons for $55 (save $15). There are 20 ticket
boxes throughout the two Carnival zones for you to make your purchases.

Break Dance
Hop around and hold on for an experience full of colour, thumping beats and non-stop action.

Dodgems
No Carnival experience is complete without a ride in the dodgems. A crowd favourite, be prepared for a bumpy ride on one of our three dodgem tracks.

Rainbow
Great heights and feelings of weightlessness are the highlights of this ride that continues to attract riders of all ages.

Cliff Hanger
Get ready for some serious airtime as you glide through the air performing tight turns and steep descents.

Wave Swinger
Soaring 15 meters above the ground the smooth motion will make you believe you are truly flying.

Hard Rock
Throw caution to the wind as you spin and rotate at breakneck speed as you swing on the giant pendulum.

Roller Ghoster
Make your way through a cemetery before you jump on this ride and take scary to a new level. This ride will propel you through four levels of terror and have you looking like you have just seen a ghost!

Halloween
This brand new Ghost Train spreads its terror over three levels – only the brave should jump on board.

While the rides put your nerves to the test, the Sideshow games require your skill, precision and ability. With an exciting collection of prizes on offer it’s ‘game on’ at the Carnival. Pit your skills against the masters, test your
strength, coordination and mind power but remember, at the Carnival there
is always a challenging twist!
