Psycho Sideshow is a feast for the eyes, of the weird and wonderful. 
Showgoers are treated to a genuine classic sideshow experience of
amazing human feats, incredible record breaking stunts and some of
the most interesting characters you will ever meet. Sometimes shocking
and always entertaining, Psycho Sideshow delivers acts that have to be
seen to be believed.
Ruby Rubberlegs is a master of body manipulation, delivering a delightfully
daring contortion routine. There will be bending, folding, twisting,
dislocating and the manipulating of her entire body into a tiny see-through
box, which she calls her New York apartment.
You won't believe it until you see it, and when you see it you still won't
believe it!
The Space Cowboy is back to stun the crowds at the 2008 Show with
his extreme sword-swallowing stunts. He is known as ‘The Pain Proof
Wonder’, ‘The Man with the Iron Stomach’ and ‘One of the Worlds Most
Bizarre Human Curiosities’ and never fails to thrill, shock and amaze
his audiences. Space Cowboy will break the World Record for weight
lifting while having a sword down his throat! He will also perform what
is known as the Black and Decker Digestion Wrecker, where he swallows
a working drill piece.
Betty Brawn, the ‘Strongest Lady Alive’, claims she was “born with the
grace of her mother and the pure brute strength of her father”. With
feminine charm, she executes feats of incredible strength that you may
have previously thought impossible. Observe in awe as she bends a
solid metal bar, breaks solid objects across her face and then tears a 500
page romance novel in half! In heralmost impossible finale, Betty lifts
grown human beings as if they were feathers. Betty Brawn will amuse and
astound you as she combines the strength of ten men with the beauty of
one woman.
Shep Huntly, also known as the ’King of Animal Traps’ and the ‘Man with
the Iron Skin’ has performed all over the world and is now bringing his
captivating abilities back to the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Blending
circus and sideshow, Shep’s specialties include performances like
the car battery electrocution, the bed of nails, the
bowling ball drop, the keg lift and the incredible antique dingo trap.
Daniel Oldaker, a consummate clown, an original humourist, and
a man with his finger on the pulsing heart of absurdity, Daniel knows 
what's what and what'll make you laugh.
The Great Gondos are a hilarious blend of wackiness, juggling,
tango, ventriloquism, balancing, contortion and beach wear make
for a laugh-a-minute performance that is suitable for the whole family.
Repeater and Roberta are an unlikely theatre couple that have pinned
all of their hopes for future fame and success on one Romeo Romero
Mario, a Broadway producer and New York big wig. Repeater and
Roberta are hoping that Romeo will show up to their theatre, see the
magnificent work that they have created and scoop them up. When
Romeo doesn't show, Repeater has to do some fancy footwork that
results in some unexpected tasks and the undoing of his own romantic
situation. 
Psycho Sideshow is a return to the Show’s heritage and a truly
authentic sideshow atmosphere. The Psycho Sideshow will take
place in the Big Top Amphitheatre at 1pm and 3pm everyday, excluding 27
and 29 March, and at 3pm and 4.30pm on 25 & 26 March.
