Fashion, Lifestyle & Shopping

This year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show came alive with glamour, sophistication and beauty. There was plenty to do, see and buy.

The Fashion & Lifestyle Pavilion celebrated all things Australian, with exhibits from Ann Collins, Aussie Wool Quilts and Pretty in Pink to name a few. Catwalk glamour was on display each day with the Australian Wool Fashion Parades. Alpaca Fashion Parades also took place in the Cattle & Alpaca Pavilion over the Easter Long Weekend, showcasing upcoming designers, which proved to be popular among Showgoers.

The Home, Garden & Lifestyle Pavilion was also a popular choice with all
the latest in home improvements, gardening, entertainment and outdoor
furniture, which was perfect for those Showgoers looking to make
additions to their homes and backyards. Popular for those with a creative
streak was Craft Corner, located within the Home, Garden & Lifestyle
Pavilion, which had an array of paints, oils and stationary to indulge in.

The Flower & Garden Show was alive with vibrant colours and smells
with judging open to the public for the first time. The Bonsai Judging was
once again popular among the crowds.

The Arts Pavilion was back again this year, showcasing everything from
award-winning tapestries, to photography, dressmaking, face painting for
the kids and the always popular cake decorating entries.

Cultures were brought together at World Bazaar, which mixed the
unusual, the interesting and the weird under one roof, with Showgoers
able to get a massage, have their futures told and taste yummy treats.

For those with a flare for excitement, The Coca-Cola Zone was the place
to be at this year’s Show with Freestyle Trials, hip-hop workshops and
emceeing competitions entertaining the crowds each day.

The old was mixed with the new at Heritage Lane, with everything from
the Save the Bilby Fund, to horse and pony rides and the latest in home
and lifestyle products.

The kids were also kept entertained at Kids World with interactive, fun
and learning activities, while the odd cajoling of parents ended with
many young ones going home with new toys and tasty treats!
