Food Farm

The Food Farm is the key education pavilion at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, which tells the story of where food comes from and the importance of farmers to everyday life. Created for pre and primary school children, their families and showgoers in general, there is something for everyone to learn in the Food Farm.

Do children know where their food comes from? This is the question asked when you enter the Royal Agricultural Societies education pavilion, the Food Farm. Children aged 3-12 are kept very busy in the Food Farm as they make their way through the fruit & vegetable, cereal crops & grains, eggs & chicken meat, red meat, aquaculture and sustainability zones. The Food Farm is designed to educate, entertain and motivate children about the importance of agriculture and our farmers who care for the land.
