The Australian Women’s Weekly Taste of the Show Theatre
Kitchen is back in 2008. After taking in the sights, sounds and smells of the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome, stop off at the Theatre Kitchen for tips and advice from Australia’s top food gurus. Hosted by Channel 9’s Fresh presenter and Australian Women’s Weekly Food Director, Lyndey Milan, learn the tricks of the trade and maybe even nab a sample of a delicious dish.

New to the Theatre Kitchen this year will be Fountain® Sauces, who will be showing what 101 years of refinement is all about. Experience their range of sauces from hot chilli sauce and steak sauce to sweet tasting plum sauce. Click here for some delicious recipes from Fountain® Sauces.
The final session of the day is always a highlight with the Celebrity
Checkout Challenge. The chef’s challengeis to produce a three
course meal with mystery ingredients in only 25 minutes. Come
and watch the guest chef’s turn the creativity on everyday and whip
up some culinary delights!
Next door and in its tenth year, the Good Drop Gallery is an integral
part of theinteractive education experience within the Dome. The
Gallery will feature wine and beverage experts giving demonstrations
on beverage preparation and mixing as well as offering samples and
tips on how to compliment food with different varieties of wine.

Both the Theatre Kitchen and Good Drop Gallery are in action all 14
days of the Show with sessions running from 11am to 5.30pm.
Theatre Kitchen sessions run on the hour with Gallery sessions on
the half hour, and each run for 25 minutes.
Also be sure to catch the
Sweet Sessions on the Couch. These 10
minute interviews allow the audience to learn more about specific
products and ask questions. Sessions run each day at 11.45am,
12.45pm, 1.45pm, 2.45pm, 3.45pm and 4.45pm.
The Food Farm is back in 2008, delivering an informative and
entertaining interactive food experience for all ages. Learn about
Australian beef cuts or watch chicks hatch via video cam. The kids
can enter the egg painting competition and the whole family can
watch meat pies being made at the Petey Pie Bakery before their
eyes, then buy them hot from the oven. Open everyday of the Show
from 10am.
