The Cattle Pavilions are a hive of activity from sunrise to sundown, as Exhibitors set about preparing their stock for Show; washing, shampooing, blow-drying and clipping them.

The Cattle Pavilions are a hive of activity from sunrise to sundown, as Exhibitors set about preparing their stock for Show; washing, shampooing, blow-drying and clipping them.

When they are exhibiting at the Show, farmers live in the lofts above their cattle, literally breathing in everything bovine. They're proud of their work and happy to have a yarn as you wander through.

In the first week of the Show, there will be beef cattle on display, including Herefords - the feature breed with bulls weighing an average 1,200kg! But there's no bulls at the Show during the second week with only Dairy cows and heifers on display.
