The Dairy Farmers Milking Barn & Dairy Farmers Working Dairy offer Showgoers a unique and exciting opportunity to interact with Show animals first-hand and learn about milk production and dairy farming. Both big crowd-pullers, the Milking Barn & Working Dairy have something for everyone.

With shows from 9.30am daily , The Dairy Farmers Milking Barn is located on the corner of Macarthur Street and Orana Parade (Showmap ref. I8) and provides an interactive educational experience with daily sessions about caring for the animals, milking techniques and butter churning. Sessions are on at 9.30am, 11am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 4pm daily.

The Dairy Farmers Working Dairy will open at 9.30am daily, and is located in the
Dairy Pavilion (Showmap ref. G4), next to the Food Farm and in front of the Dairy Farmers Farmyard Nursery. A showcase of modern dairy equipment and milking techniques, this great interactive show will give audiences insight into how the machinery works on a real dairy farm. Shows are on at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm daily.
