Sydney Royal Easter Show. 1 - 14 April, 2010
Sydney Royal Easter Show Event Volunteering

Volunteering has been part of the Sydney Royal Easter Show since its inception, with many of the judges, officials and support staff volunteering their time to make each Show a success.
The last Show saw our Sydney Royal Easter Show event volunteers excel at what they do best, making the Show an educational, exciting and engaging experience for all Show-goers.
The Sydney Royal Easter Show event volunteer team really started in 1998 when SOCOG (Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games) used the first Sydney Royal Easter Show staged at Sydney Olympic Park as a test event for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
Volunteers continue to put their hands up for the opportunity to experience the fun and feeling of community spirit at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, which is the largest annual event in the Southern Hemisphere.
Each volunteer receives an official uniform, meal vouchers and exclusive access to the Volunteer Green Room. In return, volunteers are asked to do a minimum of 8 shifts over the 14 days of the Show.
Recruitment and training for the Sydney Royal Easter Show event volunteers commences approximately 6 months prior to the Show.
